How to add custom fields in result set portlet in Maximo 7.6

Result Set functionality has been enhanced in Maximo 7.6 to use dot notation/joined attribute through relationship.

You can configure the result set portlet by using the Report Object Structure (ROS) Configured in Object Structures Application.



Steps:

1. Go To > Integrations > Object Structure
2. Click on New Object Structure.
3. Give the object structure name and give REPRORTING for Consumed by.
4. Add the objects in the Source Objects section, give the appropriate relationship between the objects.
5. Save the Object Structure.
6.  Select Action > Set Report Object Structure Security
7. Add the maxadmin security group.
8. Create a new Result set portlet in the start center
9. Click on edit button
10. Select the Application and Query saved in the application.
11. You can see the object list from the ROS created in Step 2 and you can choose attributes including any relationship attributes.

Once the Result set configuration is complete you can see the records in the RS portlet.


Note: To create/edit the Result Set and choose the fields you want to include you may need to update the webclient.resultset.relatedattributes system property to 1.
